Our offices were founded and are dedicated for the fulltime representation of motorcyclists with major injuries as a result of negligent acts of others. We are affiliated with similar offices nationwide. We have represented motorcyclists in police misconduct cases, DUI/OVI cases (blood & breath), drug offenses, licensing issues, offenses of violence and organized criminal enterprise charges (RICO).-Promote and encourage unity in motorcyclists’ religious organizations, and motorcyclists’ ministries.-Assist medical clinics in providing medical treatment to the motorcyclists unable to pay for their healthcare through and by seeking and obtaining financial support for operating expenses.

The legal issues are wide-ranging, involving search and seizure, due process, illegal interrogation, denial of counsel, and complex evidentiary issues. These legal issues intersect in a DUI case with scientific areas of expertise, such as anatomy, biology, chemistry, physiology, and toxicology, as well as pseudo-scientific areas such as field sobriety testing. DUI defense counsel must also have a working understanding of the operation of breath test equipment, hospital testing equipment, and instruments utilized by forensic laboratories in the process of testing for intoxicants. In Ohio, DUI/OVI charges are very serious, affecting every aspect of your life. From your job, family life, and daily activities, a DUI holds serious consequences. If convicted, you could face jail or prison time, license suspensions, astronomical fines, and possibly, the loss of your vehicle. In some careers, such as nursing, education, and truck driving, a DUI could mean the end of your current employment. There are many issues in a DUI case that must be assessed to determine the appropriate course of action. Questions must be asked such as: • Was the stop valid?• Did the officer have reason to believe you were intoxicated?• Did the officer administer the field sobriety tests correctly?• Did the officer properly inform you of your rights?• Did the officer coerce you into taking the breath/blood/urine test?• Were those tests done in compliance with the Department of Health?• Were the machines used to test the breath/blood/urine in proper working order?• And many more…At the Law Offices of Ralph C. Buss, we find the answers to those questions and determine what course of action must be taken. If there was any type of mistake or slip-up made by the officer or Court, we will find it!
